Dr. Israel Ben is the architect of NAAKIMS. As Pioneer President he built the association from the ground up — convening the first members, drafting its founding ideals, and giving form to what would grow into a worldwide body of Akwa Ibom medical students and professionals.
His tenure set the tone for everything that followed: a culture of mentorship, academic excellence, and service to community. The lineage of presidents that carries the torch today begins with the foundation he laid.
